York v. Sydow is an illustrator, motion graphics designer and concept artist based in Cologne, Germany.
He co-founded KUKIPOP Animation Studios in collaboration with Ihabo-Azzamo.
Animation Projects
in 2022, he earned his Diploma in Animation from Film Academy Baden-Württemberg through the Animation Series-Concept “KAHIBO”, after having worked on a number of short films and games.
Motion Graphics
York’s skill set is highly diverse, as he is not only able to design worlds, environments, and characters for animated projects but he also produces motion graphics for advertisements, music- and lyric videos.
He focuses on visual storytelling in his work. Even when creating motion graphics, his strong background in illustration and design informs his creative and visual decisions heavily. He can rely on his expertise in composition and shape language to create striking imagery in any art style.
